Data & Analytics
Most organisations are not short of data. They are short of data they can trust and report from. We build the pipelines and platforms that fix that.
Overview
What it is
Data and analytics covers the infrastructure and logic that move data from source systems into a form that supports analysis and reporting: ingestion, transformation, warehousing, modelling and visualisation. Done well, it means one trustworthy version of the numbers and the ability to answer new questions without rebuilding everything.
The problem
Problems we solve
- Conflicting numbers from different systems and spreadsheets
- Reporting that depends on manual extraction and preparation
- Analysts spending their time preparing data rather than analysing it
- No reliable history or lineage for key metrics
- Data sources that cannot be combined without significant rework
Capabilities
What we build
Ingestion and transformation pipelines across source systems
Data warehouses and analytical data models

Why UVJ
Why teams choose UVJ for this
One trustworthy number
We define metrics once, govern them, and make them available consistently, so decisions rest on agreed data rather than the latest export.
Pipelines that survive change
Data platforms are built to absorb new sources and new questions without being rebuilt each time the business changes.
Analytics where work happens
We embed insight into the operational tools people already use, instead of expecting them to visit a separate report.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Do you replace our BI tool?
Not necessarily. We usually build the reliable data layer underneath and keep the visualisation tool your teams already use. If there is a strong reason to change, we will say so, but it is rarely the first priority.
How do you make sure the numbers are right?
Through governed metric definitions, data quality checks, lineage tracking and reconciliation against source systems. Trust comes from being able to explain where each number originates.
Can analytics draw on scientific as well as operational data?
Yes. We regularly build platforms that combine scientific, laboratory and operational data, which is often where the most useful questions live.
