Cloud & DevOps

Cloud and DevOps are not a destination but a set of practices. We use them to shorten the distance between an idea and a reliable production release.

Cloud infrastructure and deployment pipeline

Overview

What it is

Cloud and DevOps is the practice of running and delivering software through automation: infrastructure as code, containerisation, continuous integration and delivery, environment management, observability and cost control. Its purpose is to make change routine and safe rather than risky and rare.

The problem

Problems we solve

  • Releases that are manual, stressful and infrequent
  • Environments that differ from production in ways nobody can explain
  • Infrastructure that is undocumented and hand-configured
  • No visibility into performance, errors or cost until something breaks
  • Difficulty scaling or recovering from failure

Capabilities

What we build

Cloud architecture and migration

Infrastructure as code and environment automation

Containerisation and orchestration

CI/CD pipelines and release automation

Monitoring, logging and observability

Disaster recovery, backup and resilience planning

Toolkit

Technologies & capabilities

  • AWS, Azure and private cloud platforms
  • Docker and Kubernetes
  • Terraform and infrastructure automation
  • CI/CD tooling
  • Observability and alerting stacks
  • Secrets management and access control

Who it is for

Designed for

  • Engineering and operations teams
  • Organisations migrating to or expanding in the cloud
  • Teams under pressure to release more frequently
  • Regulated organisations needing auditable change control

Why UVJ

Why teams choose UVJ for this

01

Automation over effort

If a step is repeated, it should be automated. That is how delivery becomes fast and predictable at the same time.

02

Security in the pipeline

Access control, secret handling and auditable change are built into the delivery process, which matters in regulated environments.

03

Cost and performance together

We design for operational efficiency, not just for passing a deployment, so cloud spend stays proportionate to value.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can you help us migrate an existing system to the cloud?

Yes. We assess the current architecture, dependencies, data and compliance constraints, then plan a migration that can be staged without disrupting live operations. Not everything needs to move at once, and some things should not move at all.

Do you support hybrid on-premise and cloud environments?

Frequently. Many of our clients have good reasons to keep some workloads on-premise, particularly where instruments or sensitive data are involved. We design for a coherent hybrid estate.

Let's engineer what's next.

Tell us about the problem. You will speak with an engineer who understands the domain, not a call centre.
